Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all orders and use of www.dikkopf.com (the “Website”), operated by Dikkopf (“we”, “us”, “our”).
Business information
Business name: Dikkopf (sole proprietorship, Netherlands)
Website: www.dikkopf.com
Email: info@dikkopf.com
Products and availability
We sell clothing and related products through the Website. Product descriptions, images, and sizing information are provided as accurately as possible. Minor variations (e.g., color on screen, print placement, or material batch) can occur.
If a product is unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and refund any amounts paid for the unavailable item.
Prices and taxes
All prices shown on the Website are in EUR and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs (if any) are shown during checkout before you place the order.
We may update prices at any time, but the price shown at checkout applies to your order.
Orders and contract
By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase. The contract is concluded when we send an order confirmation and/or when we dispatch the order (depending on the processing flow shown at checkout).
We may refuse or cancel an order in reasonable cases (e.g., suspected fraud, obvious pricing errors, or delivery restrictions). If we cancel after payment, we will refund you.
Payment
Payments are processed securely via our payment provider(s) (e.g. Mollie, including methods such as Apple Pay, iDEAL, credit card, etc., depending on availability). We do not store full payment card details.
Delivery
We deliver using carriers such as DHL, PostNL, and UPS, depending on destination and service availability.
- Estimated delivery times shown on the Website are non-binding and may vary.
- Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the address provided, unless mandatory law states otherwise.
- You are responsible for providing a correct delivery address. If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect address, additional shipping costs may apply for re-shipment.
Right of withdrawal (cooling off period) consumers
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA/UK, you generally have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 daysafter receiving the goods, without giving a reason.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us within the 14-day period by emailing info@dikkopf.comwith your order number and a clear statement that you wish to withdraw.
Returns (general conditions):
- Items must be returned within 14 days after you notified us of withdrawal.
- Items should be unused, unwashed, and in original condition, with tags/packaging where possible.
- You are responsible for return shipping costs, unless we state otherwise or mandatory law requires otherwise.
- We may deduct any diminished value if the item has been handled beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning.
Refunds: We refund the purchase price (and standard outbound shipping, where applicable under consumer law) after we receive the returned goods or you provide evidence of return—whichever is earlier—using the same payment method where possible.
Exceptions: The right of withdrawal does not apply to certain items, including goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized, if applicable.
(Note: choosing a standard size/color is not “personalized”; customization such as a custom name/unique design made specifically for you may be.)
Defective items and legal guarantee
You are entitled to receive products that conform to the contract. If an item is defective or incorrect, contact us at info@dikkopf.com with photos and your order number. We will offer an appropriate solution (repair/replacement/refund) in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Complaints
If you have a complaint, email info@dikkopf.com with your order number and details. We aim to respond within a reasonable time.
Liability
We are not liable for indirect damages (e.g., consequential loss), except where mandatory law requires otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Intellectual property
All content on the Website (texts, images, designs, logos) is owned by or licensed to Dikkopf and may not be used without prior written permission.
Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the Website at the time of your order applies to that order.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
